Yes, the office of Lokayukta has been operational in the state of Arunachal Pradesh since 27th June 2019. The Institution of the Lokayukta was set up under the Arunachal Pradesh Lokayukta Act, March 4th 2014.

The Present Lokayukta of the state of Arunachal Pradesh is Hon'ble Justice (Retd.) Prasanta Kumar Saikia.

This office has jurisdiction all over Arunachal Pradesh.

Any person aggrieved may file written complaint before Lokayukta Arunachal Pradesh for his Grievance against any action of any Public Servant of Arunachal Pradesh, if such action indicates maladministration, undue favour or corruption and thereby caused injustice or undue hardship to him.
